I enjoyed to read darker things. I was into Stephen King and Anne Rice for a while. Reading about evil cell phones and a suicidal vampire was really interesting. Then I moved on to mushy gushy teenage love stories. After a while those became really repetitive. The plot and story lines were all the same. The names and situations varied but always the same story line. Girl has a crush, best friend likes said girl, girl gets crush, fights with best friend girl realizes crush isn't worth it; finally girl gets with best friend All the books were similar and they got old after a while. Then the Twilight phase hit, before it came out in theaters. Few girls have gone without reading that over trended saga. I don't see the big deal, but that may just be because of how up played it is at this point. Ever since then I've been stuck in the fantasy scifi world of literature. In Novel we didn't read too much of these but I did for my independent reads.
